Welcome to all the paddlers taking part in the 2025 ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Championships in Durban, South Africa.

We would love to meet you and introduce you to the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) – the volunteer-driven NGO that saves lives on South African waters.

Please join us on 13 October at 17h00 for a tour of our base and a get-together, before heading to Robsons Real Beer for dinner.

Our rescue base is located at 1 Mahatma Gandhi Road, Point, with Robson’s conveniently just across the way.

Robsons Real Beer have kindly made the following meal options available :

• 180g Beef Burger with bacon, cheese and Jack Daniel’s sauce, served with chips

• Chicken Burger with bacon, cheese and Jack Daniel’s sauce, served with chips

Both options include your choice of two 500ml draught beers or two glasses of red/white wine, or two soft drinks.
