Our Old Salt design shows a bearded seafarer in a yellow knitted beanie, an anchor earring catching the light. As the smoke curls up from his pipe, it turns into a rolling sea, and riding the swell is an NSRI rescue craft, her volunteer crew in full kit, one of them reaching out to throw a lifebuoy to someone in the water. A rope border finished with a reef knot frames the whole scene. 

Printed in a hand-carved, woodcut style in navy, rescue red and sunshine yellow on a men’s white crew-neck T-shirt, it’s a tribute to generations of people who know the sea, and to the volunteers who head out when someone needs help.
